For Dan, horticulture isn’t just a profession; it’s heritage. Raised in a family of growers and nurtured by the rhythm of the seasons, he learned early that real food begins with healthy soil, patient care, and respect for nature’s timing. With over a decade in the food industry, he brings the same discipline, traceability, and commitment to quality to every drop of honey we produce.
Ami, spent 17 years in the corporate world leading global teams in cancer research. After years of contributing to science and human health, she turned her focus to the planet’s health — starting with the smallest yet most vital workers in our ecosystem. Moved by the decline in bee populations and their crucial role in food security, Ami decided to create a business that merges science, sustainability, and purpose. A natural leader with a love for the earth, she brings operational discipline, vision, and a grounded approach to everything Sydney Bees stands for.
